Gutters

Gutters

Gutters are the cheapest part of the roof and the part most often undersized. We size them for the roof area and actually route the discharge away from the foundation.

Materials

Options and Trade-offs

The standard residential gutter. Formed on-site from a continuous coil, so there are no seams along the run — seams are where gutters fail first.

Advantages

  • No mid-run seams — the most common gutter leak point is eliminated
  • Available in a wide range of factory colours
  • Lightweight, does not rust, and handles Texas heat without warping
  • Lowest cost of the gutter options for new installation

Trade-offs

  • Aluminium dents more easily than steel — ladder contact and falling branches can crease it
  • 5-inch may be undersized for large roof planes in Montgomery County downpours — we upsize where the roof area requires it
