Windows

A window is only as good as its flashing and its installation. We replace units and detail the opening so the assembly actually drains.

Materials

Options and Trade-offs

The standard replacement window in this market. Double-pane insulated glass with a Low-E coating. Maintenance-free frames that do not require painting.

Advantages

  • Lowest cost per unit of the common replacement options
  • No painting or staining — vinyl frames are maintenance-free
  • Low-E coatings reduce solar heat gain, which matters in Texas
  • Wide availability and fast lead times

Trade-offs

  • Colour options are limited — most are white or almond
  • Vinyl expands and contracts with temperature; cheaper units flex visibly
  • Cannot be repainted — the factory colour is permanent
  • Lower-end vinyl can yellow or become brittle after 15–20 years of UV exposure
